Mission Statement

 

Christ the King School plays an active part in the Catholic Church's mission to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. We believe in the uniqueness of each child and are dedicated to developing each individuals particular gifts and personal relationship with God. We seek to educate the whole child by fostering the spiritual, intellectual, moral, social, physical, and aesthetical growth of each student.

Statement of Philosophy

We, the administration and faculty of Christ the King School, in cooperation with the parents and Parish Community, are fully committed to the Catholic education and formation of our students. While we firmly believe that the parents are the primary educators, we recognize our responsibility to assist them by facilitating the learning process for each student. Therefore, we are committed to developing and educating the whole child, which includes spiritual and moral development, as well as on-going academic excellence, personal, aesthetic, social, physical, and cultural growth.

We believe in the uniqueness of each child, and are dedicated to developing each individual's particular gifts and personal relationship with God. We also encourage each student to serve the parish as well as the local and global communities.

Christ the King School is committed to providing a Christian-filled environment and student-centered curriculum. Recognizing each student's experiences and gifts, we use a variety of learning experiences to develop the students' intellectual abilities as well as their spiritual and physical growth. In our faith community the students are empowered through a variety of opportunities to become responsible citizens who make appropriate, moral decisions.
