The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Wednesday, August 15
The Assumption of the Virgin Mary celebrates her being taken up body and soul into heaven when her earthly life was finished. Masses: 7:00am, 8:00am, 12 (Noon,) 5:30pm and 7:00pm (Spanish).

Join the Young Hollywood Adult Group for a Wine and Cheese Social to be held on Sunday, August 19th after the 5:30pm Mass in the Parish Hall.

We regret to inform you of the passing of one of our faithful parishioners Rosemary Garcia. The Rosary will be held at Christ the King Church on Wednesday, August 8th at 7 p.m. Also, the Mass will be Thursday, August 9th at 11 a.m.

Can you spend just one hour in prayer each month on First Friday? There are so many people that need our prayers. We have much to thank God for: our gifts, talents, faith, family, health and much more. We ask each and every one of you to consider taking the time each month to come to Christ the King and pray for an hour. Adoration starts after the 8:05am Mass on the First Friday of each month and goes until the closing Benediction at 9pm.

PARISH LEADER MEETING :

  Wednesday, August 1

  Fr. Antonio requests your presence at an important Parish Leaders Meeting on Wednesday, August 1st in the Parish Hall from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to invite all the members of the Finance Council, Pastoral Council, and Parish Group/Ministry Leaders to come together and discuss the following:

1. How to bring visibility to your Ministry/Group
2. Update groups on upcoming important Parish events
3. Receive your feedback on how to better serve the community.
